Preparation Gather sticky notes and pens/markers/pencils. Gather bibles. Discussion The Gospel, Matthew 22:1-14, reading illustrates God’s wish to invite all to accept the gift of Christ’s salvation, and Jesus used a story about a wedding feast–who wouldn’t want to go to a fancy wedding feast? The old testament talks about the invitation to celebrate salvation with God. It is found in the book of Isaiah chapter 25 verses 6-9. And the book of Romans says: And you also are among those who are called to belong to Jesus Christ. Action Write “Invitation” on three sticky notes per child (if the child can do it themselves, let them). Then place one sticky note on the gospel reading for the week Matthew 22:1-14, and Isaiah 25:6-9 and Romans 1:6.
